Making Compost:

Compost is the best kind of material for growing plants. Plants love it because it's made from rotted-down matter that is full of natural goodness. It's easy to make compost at home, if you have the space, although it does take time. If you can't make your own, you can often buy it from your local council. It will be made from food and garden waste that gets collected from your community. Sometimes it's free!

How to make compost:

1. Get a compost bin from your local council or make your own.

2. Collect vegetable peelings, and green matter from your garden.

3.Put it in your compost bin.

4.Turn it over every couple of weeks to help it rot.

5. Ta-da! Compost!
